Everything You Need to Know about “Lingashoni”

A new telenovela is set to make its debut soon, and it promises a star-studded cast and a whole lot of drama.

Produced by Stained Glass TV, “Lingashoni” tells the story of Mandla Cele, an amnesiac farm worker who begins to remember his past life as a wealthy tenderpreneur that has been missing for 10 years.

Patrick Mofokeng – best known for playing Mlungisi Ngema in the popular soapie, “Scandal!” – will portray Cele. He is joined by acting heavyweights including Thuli Thabethe, Thato Molamu and Liteboho Molise, the latter who stars as Tebogo in “Muvhango”.

Nomsa Philiso, director of entertainment channels at M-Net, said that this show “has the hallmarks of a hit telenovela series with twists and turns that will explore the concept of family, blended family drama, high stakes, the dark underworld of crime and suspense that will keep viewers engaged with every episode.”

“Lingashoni” is scheduled to air on DStv’s 1Magic channel from Mondays to Thursdays, starting 22 March.
